Save the Cove at Mount Veeder
On Sunday October 1st, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM, the Napa Open Space District invites you to explore the Cove at Mount Veeder. The Open Space District is working to permanently preserve this priceless 160 acre Girl Scout camp and historic summer resort nestled in the forest at the tip of Mount Veeder.
Join us for food, live music, games, camp fire stories, and guided nature walks including (if you're up for it) a hike to the very peak of Mount Veeder, the tallest peak located entirely in Napa County!
This family-friendly event begins at 2:00 and will feature activities for all ages. We're particularly interested in meeting and hearing the stories of former Girl Scouts who camped at the Cove as children. Invite your friends, but make reservations soon as space is limited.
